That was 29 years ago. I started my own.. Nan always said "never cry over a broken cup, there are always more" I still have the pieces of her favorite set, I think it means more to me than the entire collection! Your coup looks like it will still display well, Such a pretty set!
Ginny MGinny Maxamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02268623579157961536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-581901359804671265.post-69303829280081512592014-10-03T20:47:47.633+10:002014-10-03T20:47:47.633+10:00Oh Bridget ! After all, it's not holding the tea.

Both you and Robyn used ginger in your posts this week. I like the idea of that tea, since we will soon be headed where you are now. I may have to "borrow" that recipe, since it sound yummy even without needing to use it to cure you.

Thanks for sharing your lemon tea with us for T this week, and my heart goes out to you over the loss of that beautiful saucer.Bleubeard and Elizabethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10149710375520733752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-581901359804671265.post-189347689466235312014-09-30T09:45:40.802+10:002014-09-30T09:45:40.802+10:00Oh Bridget, how very sad that your beautiful sauce...Oh Bridget, how very sad that your beautiful saucer is broken. That cup and saucer are so fabulous. Is there any chance of finding a replacement? You must have been so upset!

The lemon drink idea is great, and I'd definitely like to try this as our cold season is approaching. I adore honey and lemon even if I haven't got a cold! It looks so fantastic in the jar, too - would make lovely gifts, with a pretty label and a circle of fabric on top.

ShoshiShoshihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00028185699225457125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-581901359804671265.post-40066484427575954412014-09-30T08:30:41.649+10:002014-09-30T08:30:41.649+10:00non-attachement!
