WOYWW 160

What's on your Workdesk Wednesday
Like everyone else Wednesdays come around too quickly.
Well my desk this week was cleaned up for these lovely ladies that came over for our bi-monthly craft night last night. Penelope and Anna graced my table and graciously let me add them to my WOYWW collection.
Of course there is the usual spread of food, notice the chocolate jar is now full of MnM's, none of you noticed the chocolates had gone, I gave it to my daughter. Hubby has already claimed those peanut M n M's.
Simple dinner home made wontons with sweet and sour dipping sauce,
rice, butter chicken and Chinese sausage

Someone asked me last week how I did the backgrounds to my ATCs and I thought I'd share with the rest of you here, it was very easy, I used a spray of aqua glimmer mist and stamped the image up and added the glitter glue-easy peasy.

I had the pleasure of video chatting with another WOYWWer Carol C over in the UK, technology these days is awesome. We chatted on Gmail video so if any of you have facebook or gmail accounts and want to do a quick chat with me someday, let me know.

Apologies to blogs that I signed as #13, had no idea why I did that when I was #3, luckily it was only to those that had visited me when the penny dropped.

So hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground to see more desks and arts and crafts displays

Oooh Bridget, choccies and cherries! Lovely combo! i'm so glad you explained the recipe for your gorgeous ATCs - mine has arrived - thank you soooo much - it's a beautiful little work of art! Never fear, i shall get one to you just as soon as i fell well enough - really bad atm after the craft show.

I've got nothing at all to show on my desk today but am directing everyone to my workdesk at the craft show instead!

Happy WOYWW,

Morning Bridget - What a fabulous Host you are! Cherries - my favourite! They would make a good natural stain. I bet you could make splats with one...:-) Hope you and your pals had fun. WOYWW Hugs from Helen 89

How lovely to get together with your craft buddies. Although I would get very little done if there is food and lollies in the same area. Enjoy.

Hey Bridget, how lovely to be able to get together with friends and craft. As usual you have done a brilliant job of catering for the event, you always were good at that. As for the large tins, I purchase my oyster sauce from the asian grocery store and have used that, I decant the sauce and use it over time, but keep the tin. Pitty I would send you an empty one but it would probably cost to much. Asian grocery shops are great that way and you are good at living outside the box I am sure you will find something.

Oh there is special TAC AFL footy finals on in geelong followed by the standard fox game, then upto melbourne etihad stadium for the standard footy broadcast, more TAC footy finals then the Ted Witton Cup on the tueday night. Really busy week for me, today board meetings for the charity group, first aid and cpr refresher course, my head is spinning and I need sleep before heading to Geelong tonight late.

Thanks for visiting me hope you have a happy crafting week.

Thanks for the lovely comment, Bridget, and thank you for making my work easier - the most difficult part of the ATC swap is deciding what to send to whom! You now know which ATC you will be receiving lol!! So glad you like that one, because it's a particular favourite of mine, too!

If I can get myself going this evening I'm going to make up the packages so my hubby can post them for me tomorrow. Anyway, you won't have too long to wait now! Thanks for your patience.
