WOYWW #175

Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday.
Well I had to miss last week because it was uplift day for our moving house. I still dont have any internet at home but am using my iphone as a hotspot to do this.
Craft stuff to the left side of the room, all those shelves black, blue, green hold stamps. Paper shelves are empty, they are in the milk crates behind the cupboard
This is the state of my new craft room, right hand side, tables, desks and shelves all over the place
I am in a dilemma here, this desk was supposed to  be where the stamp shelves where but now to have to move all of them before the desk can be moved over.
These 26 boxes hold all the stuff you saw in my previous WOYWW pictures, they are in the garage along with more shelves and guess what else the removalists put in here!! Our tv remote!!! What a cockup, that should have gone in our priority box grrrr, so now its getting up and changing the tv at the tv and only able to view 2 channels. The rest of the house is unpacked thank goodness.

A little bit about the new house, it is huge, much bigger than the old one and so much space and I have a room of my own to craft in that is 25 x 20 feet. The backyard is also huge and has the following trees: olive, loquat, 2 lemon trees, grapevine, apple, pear and 2 fig trees. I've started to collect jars from everyone in preparation of making jams. I have given away loads of lemons already. There is also a pizza oven outside. Our first attempt at lighting a fire didnt work out hahaha, we were all ready to make pizza dough.

Hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground  to see more desk antics.

I am SO envious, Bridget!!! First of all...moving into a "new" house (even if it isn't actually new)...and then having that HUGE room for your crafting!! Oh it's glorious.

A brand new space and it is so big. You will be able to have crafty friends over to play with so much space. #9

Your room looks fantastic. Those floors must stay nice and cool in the heat! They will be so easy to keep clean!!!
I have wall to wall rug in my craft room and hate it.
I think you just have to move things one at a time to get them where you want them. Do you have friends their or family who could come and help shift the boxes to where they should be? It is a huge task ahead but will be so worth the journey when you are done.

You may be in a mess at the moment Bridget what a wonderful craft area you’re going to have when it’s all in its place. Bet you were surprised just how much stash you had accumulated when you started to pack it all up.

Happy Crafting!

Happy WOYWW. Your new huge craft room is going to be amazing. The garden and all its trees sounds like heaven. A pizza oven - and the weather to enjoy it - also sounds like heaven! I do question constantly why we live in the UK? Ali x #67

Good luck getting settled in to your new craft room! I'm envious of the space you'll have! I think movers (removal it's) hide things like remotes on purpose. A wicked sense of humor! Nan 122

OMG Bridget

What a fabulous place you have there. The whole move must have been traumatic - but what a payoff! My craft room would fit in there approx 4 times (if i've worked it out properley)... I would be lost in there quite frankly! lol.

The garden sounds fab too - hope you show us more next week - or at least in the coming weeks.

Not good about the remote! hope you don't have to open too many boxes before you find it lol...

Take care with the rest of your un-packing - can't wait to see the progress of the craft room as you get sorted in there.

regards,

Paula x x x (#148-last but not least)!!!

WOW Bridget

Your new place sounds fabulous - all that space is a dream for most of us... mind, even with all my stuff - I'd still look lost in there and it may tempt me to buy more stuff to fill it!

Can't wait to see the pics of when you've done it.

Good luck hunting for the remote - that would be a tradgedy in this house - well, for my eldest son anyway - who hogs the ones in the lounge! I have my own TV thank goodness.

Please show pics of other places next week - particularly the garden. It all sounds ideal. Hope you will be very happy there.

Sometimes things work out for the best - and your unexpected move sounds like it really did work out. Hope so anyway.

Good luck with the rest of the unpacking and sorting out and getting settled.

Best wishes
Paula x x x (#148-last but not least)!!!
