I have been laid down with a late season flu, only in Canberra do we suffer from flu in the summer months sheesh. To top that off it's hay fever season as well so I had a double dose. So what better way to chase the lurgys away is to make chicken soup with my favourite additions-creamed corn and corn niblets. Threw some fresh parsley from the garden for good measure. That cup of tea has gone cold hahaha you can see the pooling of the milk when it goes cold uuuggghhh.
I am getting too OCD for my own good having to paperclip down the scribble pad under the keyboard LOL
If you live in Australia and are a card maker or not a cardmaker please read my request for Cards for the Troops and if you can contribute I would be ever so grateful.

Sorry you have been struck down with the dreaded lurgy and hay fever... I had a dose of that last week with all the flowers coming into flower, but feeling better this week! Hope your soup works and you are back on form again soon! Annette

Feel better soon, that hot soup should really help!!
Happy T to you,
Dawn
It's so hard to be sick when the weather is mild--I hope the soup and tea make you feel better soon.
Thank you for you comment on my sea tea art--you are right, it does look like a puppet show!
My hubby is sick too. I'm hoping I can fight through it and not cave in. Hope you feel better soon.
Happy Tuesday!
So sorry to hear you're not feeling well, Bridget. Hope that you'll feel better soon. I think that the soup should help with that. By the way, your addition of corn (my favorite food) sounds divine.
A double dose of woes seem to have you enjoying your soup much more than the tea. I hope you feel better soon, because this is NO fun, no matter what season of the year.
Thanks for joining T today. Wish I were a card maker, but you really wouldn't want anything I make. Mine look like a 5 year old made it. But I know there are some really clever and prolific card makers out there, so I'm sure you'll get a response from some.
Happy T Day to you! Sorry you don't feel well. Look's like you got the mix of perfect medicine there to help you feel better and stay warm. Hope it works SOON!
Thanks for sharing today.
Your soup looks wonderful. Hope that it made you feel much better. Just clicked onto your blog and had to get up and see what the strange noise was coming from the bedroom. It is my dog barking in her dream.....LOL
Happy T-day and hope you feel better soon!!
Sorry you've been sick. I hope that , since I am so late getting around, that you are well by now. The soup looks yummy! ;) Happy late T-Day!
