WOYWW #149

Well not much changed on my desk except maybe a little messier than
last weeks, food specially for 505Whimsygirl Kay.
The food on offer this week is
Singapore noodles
Malaysian Beef curry
Honey Chicken
She must have been hungry cos she came looking for food on my desk
but sadly last week there was non lol.
Behind the food is an easel card given to me by my Secret Sister.
on the blue tissue is my Pay it Forward from Famfa Busy ButterFingers
Thank you, I am still trying to work out which one is Easter holidays
Did do some zentangle whilst away, the purple one is Mr Crafty.
In comparison I mentioned to him that mine was quite organised
and his was quite busy. Must be what our brains are all about lol
P.s. taken both photos with my point and shoot, the new baby
isn't cooperating with wide areas to photograph.

For some reason I have a lot of traffic from Shoshi's blog,
I must go visit to see what she has said behind my back this time LOL

Go and visit some more messy desks at Jans

p.s.s. did any of you win the $656 Mega Millions?
Just checking!!!

Lol lol Bridget!! I don't think I've said anything really - certainly not derogatory!! Your zentangles are great - I haven't tried colour yet. Everyone has their own style!

Spyder, bless her, has given me permission to zentangle her gorgeous Venetian mask picture, so that's my next project, I think! If you google "Venice Carnival" there are some amazing pictures and lots of scope!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. My mixed media project is very slow because everything takes ages to dry. I haven't a clue how it's going to turn out as I'm making it up as I go along, but gradually some ideas are evolving! I'll try and keep everyone up to date each week on WOYWW.

You've got a lovely busy desk there, and seeing that food made me feel hungry! Yum yum.

I was also given an easel card this week - sent to me by a friend who I did some digital drawing for. Although I know what they are and how they work, I've never actually seen one before, and it's lovely!

Happy WOYWW,

LOVE the zentangles you made, but sorry, Bridget, I do NOT zentangle. It is too hard on my hand, the one gripping the pen. I was born with a rare birth defect that is associated with arthritis. If you have ever seen any of my tutorials with my hand in them, you would see proof of what I'm talking about. I simply cannot grip a pen for even 10 minutes. That is why nearly everything I do is computer generated. Thanks for the visit, though. I appreciated it.

Well you know, the first thing that I zoned in on was the plate of food... so what does that tell you about me? lol Oh and If I had won the mega millions, I wouldn't be talking to you..... well not on the computer anyway, but in person! Wouldn't it be great to visit everyone's desk in the flesh? One can only dream! I look forward to visiting your blog. I figure someone who is going to lose a t.v. or wear nothing but stamps is worth taking note of. lol needlewings #52

Did not win the mega millions but if I had I would hire Tim to come and play with me and all my friends. I noticed the plate of food right off the bat. It is almost lunchtime. I had a giggle that you put it there for WhimsyGirl! If she's hungry, she needs to get on facebook. Tons of people post pictures of the food they are about to eat (no idea why really). Love the this and that's on your desk. The colored Zentangles are very cool.

Hee hee!! And I thought it was all a ploy just to get me here! Your meal sounds great and looks even better!

You are on my "always visit" list, ya know.

I love the red zentangle - very cool. I've started collecting zentangles and doodles on pinterest. I think I'm more of a doodler but might give it a go.

Hi Bridget, me again... Thanks for your latest comment on my blog - I would hardly call myself an expert as the whole process of getting my new blog design up was worse than pulling teeth lol! Without the wonderful support and help of friends, I could never have done it! I don't think I'm going to be setting myself up as a blog designer any time soon!!! Glad you like it, though. After the latest tweaking it's a lot better. I still want to organise my sidebars a bit better, but after that it should be fine, I think.

You're right, the zentangles are such different styles. Wouldn't it be interesting to do some kind of comparative research about this topic.
Interesting to look at the desk top too. I occasionally have an evening to myself and enjoy taking food and glass of red to the studio with me.
Take care,

Hi Bridget, sorry you're not on WOYWW this week (WOYWW 150) - but thanks for your comment on my blog! Sorreee... no copy for you hunnybuns, but feel free to download one for yourself lol!! I wanted to send a "proper" copy to Spyder as she was so kind as to let me zentangle her beautiful mask!!

Glad you like the cards I received. It was such a beautiful, and unexpected, parcel.

Have a great week.

omigosh, Bridget! You draw Zentangles too? That's one of my favorite pasttimes on planes and ships and I've been known to draw at home or in airports, too. This is, indeed, a small world!
