WOYWW # 213

A stash of Papers to do some classes for a retreat I am teaching at next month, there was so much of it I had to give it its own paper stand and separate it from my stash.
A card kit all cut out above in white card stock ready to be packaged
My wonderful friend and owner Ann-Maree at Craftyas surprised me with a gift that was on my wishlist
it now has pride of place in my machine corner and does a wonderful job when I put those intricate dies through them, they cut like butter

One kit down ready for the Retreat on July 28th
Love our fireplace, its sits in the family room and I boil my water on it and meals that dont splash. This was Chicken in Montreal seasoning that I left to cook slowly for 2 hours, smelt wonderful throughout the house.
Poor Mr Crafty (hubby), last year he had an operation to mend his Meniscous on his right knee, on the weekend his left knee has gone the same way so we see the orthopaedic surgeon tomorrow to see when he can have another op, luckily for him he recovered from the op last time really quickly but still stressful having to drive him everywhere.
Hope on over to Julia's Stamping Ground to see more crafty desks

I can tell it's winter in your world. I'm running my AC day and night, here. Which do you like better, the Spellbinder or the BigKick? Love those intricate cuts.

OOPS, guess yours is a BigSHOT!!! Nearly the same, though.

Now that looks like a fantastic stash of papers Bridget, the 6x6 look like they're kaisercraft (makes sense given where you are). Great gift, quite a staggering gift really! Hot and humid here too, but not as bad as Elizabeth, so I'll pass on the chicken dish event though it looks scrummy! The tree stamp is from a clear Inkadinkado set called Christmas Words.

Did you get your parcel in the post? It went out last week and should have landed on your doormat by now, hopefully!! Annette

I have to do that too Bridget - keep specific stuff separate; nothing worse than turning up to a class and using something that you've picked up by mistake that the shopkeeper doesn't stock! I cook like that too, your chicken looks great.

Love that fireplace. Makes me think back at my grandmothers place. She always had something bubbling away on hers in her kitchen.

I love the sound of machine corner. I'm a steampunk and urban fantasy fan, so it immediately took me to a happy place! I'm in awe of you working with white cardstock: it would have my mucky finger prints on it in seconds!

Happy WOYWW.

I now have four replacement joints; both knees, right hip and left shoulder. Margaret, (glitterandglue) says I'm her bionic man! She's going to sell me for scrap metal when I'm dead! Well it is high grade titanium when all said and done. Praying that your hubby's surgery goes well. Have a good week, John W. Pyro-jack #105

I LOVE your work space. Mine is the living room, my desk…it's my coffee table. Which needs some crafting TLC. Your girls are beautiful. I have 2 girls, and 3 boys. My youngest daughter is named Bridget. (Tho in blog posts I'll refer to her as Gidget, she's 13) I hope hubby doesn't have too much pain after surgery. I had my Spine fused 18 months ago. No fun at all.
BTW, your chicken looks YUMMY!!!! You have the "Montreal" Seasoning, do you have the "Beer Can Chicken" Seasoning down there?? If so, I HIGHLY recommend it. You don't need to be making beer can chicken to use it. Let it set on your chicken 30-60 minutes the cut. shred, cook as usual. I've started following you. Hope all goes well with hubby and his surgery. Keeping you in my thoughts.

Happy WOYWW, I will try and go round all the 3s but I am pretty busy at the moment!

You look very busy too, what a wonderful gift I would love to try it.

The chicken looks nice, I probably couldn't eat the seasoning, unless it is made up from scratch and I leave out all the stuff I can't eat!
