What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 245
I have been AWOL from desk hopping for awhile now. We found out in December we are moving Interstate to Sunny Queensland, Brisbane. Things to see and do in Brisbane. We are going to a tiny state of 3,500,000 in population to 4,500,000 a big jump. But big cities isn't new to us. We've lived in 2 other larger cities Sydney and Melbourne
One last project I need to do before we move is a set of 60 Wedding stationery which includes Invitations, Thank You Cards and Name Place Cards, that a co-worker commissioned me to do so it's all on between culling-packing-and crafting. The main desk is set out with all the ingredients
My projects for the Cards for the Troops has had an overwhelming response from ladies all over Australia. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. The cards above came from Jenny Hubbard from Queensland. The boxes below came from Sandra Carter from NSW, the crocheted coat hangers are for me and I am supposed to learn how to do them hahahaha
My last craft project I did can be found HERE, it is the cutest Baby Rattle Card.
Linking to Julia's Stamping Ground for this internet desk hopping

What a wonderful response to your cards for troops project!
I hope you can find a place that has as wonderful a craft room as you have had at this house.
Blessings

Reads like you've lived all over Australia. I hope your move goes smoothly, because it's going to be tough when you have to pack up and move again.
I was going to ask earlier, then forgot. Is there a way to send cards for the troops to some address in the US, or do I have to send them to Australia, which would unfortunately cost an arm and a leg.
Happy WOYWW from #1.
A lot to do before you move and still learn to do those hangers...I think not! #32
A lot to do - never mind the move, hehehe! The cards for troops response was fabulous. Good luck with everything Helen 12

I love Brisbane - we've got great friends there and I enjoyed visiting them a few years ago, travelling through Queensland as well!

Hi Bridget,
Wow - have you even unpacked all your boxes from your last move? I wish you well and hope everything goes smoothly.
The commission job sounds great. I remember Di from Pixie's Crafty Workshop talking about wedding invitations that she was commissioned to do a few years back and she was so happy to have them done with!
What a great response to your call out for cards for the troops - very cool. Oh, and love the hangers. I still want to learn how to crochet....
Happy WOYWW

Your work desk is so neat...so organized, Bridget! I'm envious...not envious of another move that you're facing, though!
