WOYWW #151

Did you miss me?
I do have a WOYWW this week.
There was too much drama last week between hubby and I taking it
in turns to spend a full day each at the hospital.
Him with his knee and not being able to walk much
and me with chest pains, they can't find anything that caused it so far
(I suspect its stress from his knee-see we do share the love!!)
Also my desk didn't change much, so I had nothing new to share.

So my desk started off like this when I cleaned it up ready for some craft
friends to come around last night for our monthly craft evening,

I was stamping up Magnolia images so I can learn to colour in.
When I cleared that off the food appeared, those interesting biscuits on the cheese platter
are wafers made from beetroot and mint and sweet potato.
The downside to all the is food is if no one eats it I have to eat it all,
hubby does not like stuff like this, he thinks its dainty food
There are chocolates in the jar . They are from Coco Black and to die for and not cheap either, you will be pleased to know I've had those chocolates since Easter and the jar is still full.
This is what was on my space to do LOL
Those packets of micro beads turned into these ready for my over 55's class

Coffee and tea is served, urn large enough to feed the neighbourhood
Penelope brought over this gorgeous card and lent me the stamps
to stamp up so I could make my own card

Very productive night hahaha lots of chatting and not much crafting
These ladies are on my wish list from

Hop over to Mrs Dunnit's place to see more exotic desks,
I am aiming to visit everyone this week, wish me luck!!

Oh WOYWW #156 is an ATC swap if you'd like to participate
Mrs Dunnits post here explains it.
I cant wait to play, if any of you want one, leave me a comment
so I know how many I am making and email me your postal address.
Week #156 is 30th May

Very nice looking desk with fun things to play with. I love get together with family and friends and we brew up huge vats of coffee and tea to share! If I were there you would have to share the goodies to eat. Not dainty at all if you ask me. Chocolates do go stale so don't let them sit too long. Vickie #41

Sorry to hear that you have both had health scares, hope your are both better now. I have a bad knee (took years to fix) too so I know what your hubby is going through. Love that yummy food but how can you not eat that chocolate. It would kill me to keep seeing it there. Those lady stamps are gorgeous.
I would love an ATC but only if you have the time.

What a wonderful post, I want to come and craft. That food looks delicious, your husband doesn't know what he's missing!

I am joining in the ATC swap as I've just got into this recently.

My son has been very ill over the last few years and I've had all sorts of pains which have been investigated to no avail. I cam to the conclusion it was from the stress of worrying about him.

Take care

I had some chest pain that landed me in the Emergency Room a few weeks ago...they said it wasn't a heart attack which was all I really cared about. Anyways, they said it was a chest wall inflammation which can be caused by an infection or stress...guess which it was for me? Stress! Probably you too, so sorry for you...mine hurt terribly and still does occasionally.
Looks like you had a lovely party and made a beautiful card!

I know it is nice to share things with your spouse and all, but don't you think you are taking this a wee bit far? Usually I would pick the table of crafting goodies over the table to food, but those snacks look so good! Have fun with your class. I definitely plan to participate in the ATC swap for WOYWW. I'm pondering designs already.
