WOYWW #217

Slowly trying to put my dies into storage as I get them, this pile is the Die Dlites from Spellbinders. Each DVD case holds 4 die packs such a space saving feature for me.

I've posted a few cards I have created lately, you will find them on my craft blog HERE

Thanks for all your well wishes which has aided me in recovering from my flu and loving and sharing my flu soup which I lived on for a week. My daughter came for the weekend and she was eating vegemite and avocado on her toast, at first I thought it was gross. I love my vegemite and my avocado but not together. Well I think I am slowly coming around to liking this combination.
I've been watching the series 24 with Kiefer Sutherland in it whilst I've been sick, otherwise I hardly watch tv except at night.

I try and achieve 2 things on WOYWW, to get first spot (which can be pretty hit and miss when Miss Julia switches the posting time on us) or I try and visit every blog and this week I achieved the latter woohoo which is easier than the first. Some blogs I couldn't comment on because it wanted me to sign up to something first and others just wouldn't allow me for some reason or other.

Glad you're feeling better Bridget. Our kids do introduce us to some weird yet wonderful new "dishes" don't they? No.1 Son is a fan of Mayo on pizza (pepperoni) which I thought sounded disgusting - but to my secret shame I am now a convert! Have a happy week. MMx #42

Glad you are feeling better Bridget! Not nice having flu. Plenty of time to craft but no enthusiasm or concentration. Praying you feel more like crafting this week - and using some of those dies your storing so well. Kind regards, john-w #23

Bridget, that avocado and vegemite looks very yummy. I've never thought of avocado as a topping for bread, I have only ever used it in salad or to make guacamole.
Hope you are feeling better now, lots of healthy vitamins in those advocado to help you back on your feet and back to your carfting desk and using those spellbinders to make soemthing really pretty.

Like the storage idea - must pass that on to a friend who has LOTS of dies etc. None myself - no big machine for cutting them either - I just go over to Mrs D if I need a cutting and embossing fix!!!
Glad you are feeling better - have a great week.

glad you are feeling better, but afraid you can keep the toasts, the egg looked ok, and I did like your soup last time.

I rarely watch tv either.

Wow! Bridget how good you are to manage to comment on every blog! That's the true spirit of WOYWW! I am so late commenting this time, as I had to go and pick up my daughter from the airport and that took up hours and hours! Lovely to have her back, though. I love your Spell binders. I only have a few but I treasure them. Avocado and Vegemite - is that like Marmite (UK)? Not sure about that one! Julie Ann #12

Hi bridget, glad you are feeling better and I am not sure about vegimite and avo... but it might be worth trying just the once! Like your storage solution, wishing I hadn't thrown all those covers away now! Annette #1 for the first time in 4 years!

Hi Bridget,

Good for you, I managed to do the same get around to them all, we rock girl. Yep, I do have one really interesting job that is for sure but there is also some crappy moments when all is quiet but that can be really nice too.

Happy WOYWW
Sorry I am returning the visit so late, work got in the way. LOL but it was good work.

So glad you're feeling better now, Bridget. Flu is so draining and grim... Your food, as always, got my mouth watering! Some of the most unlikely combinations turn out to be delicious, don't they. I love your die storage - very organised and neat, and you can see through the cases which is great.

Thanks for your lovely comment. Actually the black furniture is really old, and my original office furniture, which doubled up as my art table in this house, and now it's been moved over, it's in the smaller section of my beautiful room and will revert to being exclusively office again. Other pics on my blog show my fabulous Art Heaven with its sweeping curves around the room, of continuous work surface, with loads of storage!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Glad you are feeling better - don't worry about the no 1 spot just rest.
Not sure I could eat that combo sandwich - love the green stuff but eggs!
Love the Spellbinders dies you have there - did you get on the DT? I forgot to ask before. Hope so.

Pleased to hear you are feeling better Bridget and I am loving your use of the DVD Covers to store your dies. I am actually about to order some to store my stamps. Hope you have enjoyed your daughters visit. Sorry for the late arrival to comment, but better late then never as they say! Happy WOYWW! Danie #25

Thank you for your visit this week. My sort out is still progressing slowly. I have to admit that avocado with vegemite is not one that I would have thought of. I do like vegemite though, almost as much as our British original - Marmite. Glad you are feeling better, and getting over your flu. Take time to recover fully. xx Maggie #48

good for you dropping in on everyone LOL. I thought about trying it too but I just can't sit or type long enough before discomfort kicks in and get up again. Maybe when the specialist can ease these aching joints I'll try. So glad you are feeling better. Your card on fruitsalad...I used to call that an interwoven card...not sure what others call them LOL. Thanks for kind words re my jewellery too
