T for Tuesdays

Apologies for the murky photos, I took them with my phone and always forget that I have to stand still. Just wanted to show the variety of tea we have in our supermarkets.
This section holds my favourite Twining's brand, I love their teas except for the burnt flavoured ones.
Sometimes I love Bushells too, I call it grandmas tea because it was around in my grandma's time and thats all we drank when I was growing up, and is still going strong.

Joining Bluebeard and Elizabeth's T stands for Tuesday meme

I'm always amazed at the amount of Lipton Tea that is around, even where YOU shop. It's probably the worst tea in the world, has the worst reputation, but seems to be one of the top sellers.

I was also impressed with the other teas you showed. Some I've heard of, others never. But it was fun to see your supermarket and the amount of tea available in your "neck of the woods."

Thanks for sharing these teas with us for T this week.

What a lovely lot of tea choices you have. I haven't seen Liptons since I was a girl (many years ago) and I've never heard of Bushells. My favourite brand is Twinings, with my top two being Earl Grey & Lady Grey :D

I remember Bushells - can't say that I have noticed here of late though. We drink Bell tea, and I often have herb teas too. You have a huge variety available there!!

I like Twining's Tea but don't like Bushell's tea, we used to have loose leaf tea in the pot drawing as they called it. My dad still has it that way and has his favorite pot that nobody is allowed to touch. We do have a wonderful collection here in Australia.

That's a lot of liptons. We have a pretty small selection at our local grocery. But the shopping mall has a Teavana store. Pricey but good stuff.

Your grocery has a good selection. Lipton's is what I grew up on and we still keep individual and "family-sized" Lipton's tea bags on hand. I've never heard of Bushell's.

Lovely having an array of choices!
I was taking a photo at a fancy supermarket a couple of years ago and someone tapped me on the shoulder and told me photography was not allowed...
hrumpf if what I said LOL...
funny enough it is a much visited random blogpost (I called it Tea or Not) but I did not give the store credit which I would normally do Hah!
Oh sorry I went off on a tangent...
Happy T Day Brigit!

wow, that is a lot of tea...I would never be able to decide which one to choose! I can often be influenced by the attractiveness of the packaging though...not the best criteria, I know! happy T day!

Poor Liptons, I'm like jinxxxygirl, I grew up on it as iced tea, but we were all coffee drinkers.

When I do drink hot tea, it is from Teavana or from the grocery store it would be Twiggs.

Very cool idea to post a pic from the store.

Happy T-day

Hi Bridget, this is SO funny to me because just last week I was in the grocery doing the exact same thing!! I really wasn't sure what to post that week and took photos at my supermarket too. But still haven't posted them yet. Glad to see someone else do the same!

You have such a wonderful choice for teas. I don't think I've seen so many in one place before. We like to use loose leaf tea and usually get it at the Indian market near us.

Lots of choices. We have whole rows of teas, just not the same ones. :) Happy T-Day!

Twinings is my favorite brand, too, with the exception of the "greys". I don't think I have every seen or tried the burnt ones you are referring to.

Wow! THAT is a lot of tea for sure :) - I am not sure that I like Lipton though - I mostly buy my tea at a local (Copenhagen) or at Harrods when I visit London :D Thanks for sharing your wonderful racks with tea (even the photos are like they are but I like them anyway)

Thanks again
Kind regards
Mariane
