T is for Tuesday

I bought these wonderful home made sauces last week. My friend gave me some chilli jam to try in her lamb shank soup. I [promptly came home and made my own below, you will find the recipe HERE. I love mint in my tea, I pick a few branches and put them in water and take a leaf each time I make a cuppa.
This tin has tea leaves in it, I love tea leaves when I have the time to brew it, it just tastes so different to tea bags.

I am very busy this week but I cant tell you until next week what I will be up to as its a secret. Stay tuned..there will be lots of photos in maybe a few posts.

Linking up with Bluebeard and Elizabeth travelling vicariously around the world for more teacups

Just mint in water, or mint in 'ordinary' tea?
Those sauces look yummy!

Oh the sauces look delicious. My man can't digest Chilli, in any form, so I don't use Chilli anymore. Mint is a lovely Herb to use in Drink as well as food.Enjoy your Tea

the sauce looks good. My goodness everyone is talking about food today.
I am getting so hungry.
I love mint in my tea...it reminds me of the mint my father grew behind our garage when I was a little girl.
Happy Tuesday !

Hiya Bridget, I just put milk in a saucepan with two chai teabags and keep stirring till it changes colour to light brown and it tastes fab!
Not thought of putting mint in my tea... is it normal tea or special tea?

Fresh mint in tea is always great. I've got mint in my garden and I have used it in many things. I even mix it in fruit salads. It's really great with watermelon.

Those sauces look wonderful, especially the parsley and walnut puree. Not sure I could take the heat of the chili sauces, although I love chipotle.

And yes, I much prefer tea leaves to tea bags. The taste is so much richer.

Happy T today.

I've been afraid to put mint in my garden since my neighbor had it completely take over hers. Love the flavor of fresh mint though.
Happy Tuesday!

Hello and Happy Tuesday! What a yummy post this is. I haven't thought about mint in tea before, just plain Lipton for me. Thinking this Tuesday blog hop is going to inspire me to try new teas to drink. The sauces look good but nothing to spicy for me. Enjoy your new goodies. Have a good week.

Happy T day!

My husband is not very happy with the huge tomato, he forsees more! I think that might be the only one exactly like it is, the others look a bit more normal but still big, I have 4 varieties from cherry to beef size!

I love peppermint as tea on it's own, I am letting the plants recover but I think there could be some to pick today!

Enjoy your soup!

I love sauces and herbs and tinctures and such. I think in another time I would have run an apothecary. The sound of clinking bottles and packing herbs in a tin would make me very happy.
Happy T day to you
